In the Podcasts list, I can see the ratings field, and I can also rate the post.
I verifyed all the steps a lot of times, and I don't know where is the problem.

I tryed also to delete and recreate the PKS podcasts list, and I made the steps to configure the list again, but I stopped on the same problem.
Could someone help me with that?
Thank you,

When I upload a video, just the Podcast page doesn't display the silverlight webpart. The upload podcasts page displays the silverlight interface.
And If I click the link of the video, I can watch it on my media player. In the format mpeg, the thumbnail was succesfuly generated.

But if you try to see the video on Podcasts detail page, the silverlight interface, the place to rate and comment doesn't show up.

This is a problem with the page? Or a incorrectly configuration?
I have all pre-requisites installed. I made a "iisreset" as it was sayd on the troubleshooting, but notting happened.

I am facing a similar issue.  We just installed PKS 2 days ago and our initial test uploads were fine.  I tried a few more uploads to day and the silverlight player won't show up.  Neither will the podcasters information show up for users other than myself.

I've got the same problem and spent so much time on this already .. and haven't got any clue.  Anyone can shed the light ...would be highly appreciated!

If you do not see the silverlight interface or the ratings box on Podcast Detail page, then it seems that the CsId is not getting generated for that item.

If Media Encoder Service is working fine on the server and still this issue is seen then one of the possible reasons could be that some codec’s are not installed on server for files that are uploaded and hence CsId is not getting generated for that item. If this issue is seen for a particular type of file then that almost confirms that it is a codec issue. I would suggest installing the required codecs for that file type.

@femiaplha -  If Podcaster’s information is not showing up, please check that the read permissions to all authenticated users is given.

It would be better if you follow the "How To Apply Security Settings.docx" guide as part of the PKS documentation.

Hope this helps.
