PKS Installation (December Release)

Jan 13, 2009 at 3:38 PM
When I follow the steps to changing the masterpage, I receive an error when going to the site. After changing the masterpage, I get the error
Unknown server tag 'asp:ScriptManager'
After 'googling' this, I have determined it is something with AJAX, but have not been able to get it fixed. Does anyone have any experience with this error or know how to resolve it?

Ensure you have all the necessary entries in your web.config for ajax (http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/moss-install-aspnet-ajax-35.html).

I've also got problems with the installation of PKS (December Release). I followed the installation instruction but when I run the PKS setup the log files shows several exceptions.

As you could see I'm running the German version of MOSS 2007, so I'll translate the errors for you:

First Error: "Error[ActivateSiteFeature]: Der Wert liegt außerhalb des erwarteten Bereichs." --> The value is not within the expected range.
Second Error: This one seems to be related to the first one as it says that there is a dependency problem.
Third Error: Fehler beim Instanziieren der Datei "PKSMobileHome.aspx" von Modul "PKSMobileContentPages": Die angegebene Liste ist nicht vorhanden. --> Error on initiating the file "PKSMobileHome.aspx" form the modul "PKSMobileContentPages": the list described is not available.

I hope you can help me solving this problem.

Bye,
Flo

Ok, I found the reason for my error in another thread, obviously only English collaboration sites are supported, unfortunately I tried to deploy it to a German site.
